Stratum ICS is a software company in Guyana, working with clients here and abroad. I scope the work, I write the code, and I am still here long after it ships.
I build software and AI tools to order: MCP servers, AI agents, Telegram bots, Excel and PDF automation, and full web applications. Every build is scoped and priced in writing before it starts, comes with its full source code, and lands on your own accounts and keys.
The person who quotes your project writes the code and answers your email a year later. Nothing passes through an account manager, and nothing has to be explained twice to someone new.
The proof is what already runs. Rent Receipts and Reminders is live and still supported today, long after the interesting part was over. Counter, a point of sale that keeps selling when the internet drops, is live and open for business. AgentForge is built and running, and more are being finished now. Most of the work never appears anywhere, because it belongs to the people it was built for. Software that is finished, shipped and still standing says more than a page of quotes.
You may be paying someone in another country you have never met, so the commercial side is built to be checked rather than taken on faith. Scope and price are fixed first, payments run through a Merchant of Record, source code and accounts stay yours, and larger builds are split across delivery. The details are on the FAQ.
The name
Stratum means layers, foundation, the structure everything else sits on. ICS stands for Integrated Core Systems. It is a description of the job: the tools underneath, the ones people use every day without thinking about them.

I did not have a gift for this. There was someone in my high school class in Guyana who did, obviously and early, and the teacher leaned on him the way you lean on the one person in the room who understands. He taught most of us. I learned by reading his code until it stopped being symbols and started being sentences.
Most of what I do now is spreadsheets, and I build them from nothing. Not a table in a grid. A workbook that writes your quotes and invoices off your own price list, watches your stock, closes your month, goes and fetches its own data, rebuilds every report on one click, and sends the finished thing out without anyone opening it. I take over inherited ones too, the sort grown over years with formulas nobody dares touch. After enough of them, there is not much left I have not made a spreadsheet do.
The rest is software proper. Rent Receipts and Reminders is the one you can go and open. The bigger builds are not public.
I am in Guyana. Nearly everyone I work for is somewhere else. It runs on email and a shared screen, and everything commercial is settled in writing before it starts, because you are trusting a stranger with something that matters.

You are not wiring money to a stranger
Paying someone in another country is a fair thing to be careful about. Here is exactly how the money moves, so none of it rests on trusting us.
- Payments are handled by Polar, a Merchant of Record. Your card statement shows Polar, you get a real receipt, and your card issuer's normal protections apply. If something goes wrong you have a payment company to go to, not just an email address.
- Scope and price are fixed in writing before any money moves. If the work is not in the document, it is not in the price, and neither is a later surprise.
- Larger builds run 50% up front and 50% on delivery. You never pay for work that has not been done.
- Source code and accounts are yours, always, whatever happens between us.
- Rent Receipts and Reminders is live and still supported, long after the interesting part was over. That is the proof that things here get finished and kept running.
